I took the old keyboard to another i-mac and the Return key works. Is it a setting or something like that which is wrong in the Administrator but not in the other user? Thanks very much for your help. imac Mac OS X (10.4.8)
The 'Return' and 'Backspace' keys on my mac have recently stopped working. Nothing was spilled on them and nothing seems to be wrong with them when pressed down. I have rung apple and they said it would need to be taken into a store, but there isn't one near by and it will be a few weeks until i can take it in.
